I live in London.
Have been married, but happily single now.
With a small flat and a roof terrace that looks out over Hertfordshire and is big enough for me to pace up and down with my morning cappuccino. Or sit at a table and write. Or pull out a lounger and stare at the moon at night, wrapped in a duvet.
I am so high up that I see the sky through a huge glass wall/door outside my bedroom and it is like a wall of light that I wake up to.(Unless of course it is too bloody early and winter) And where I stand on days when the lightening is dancing dervish style outside and watch.
From downstairs I can look up it looks like I have the most beautiful canvas painting of the sky. And even better than a painting it changes moment by moment. I don't know why I have used this to describe me, but I have, it seems to make some sort of sense.
I like feeling free. I like to be surrounded by space and light, and after that I need to know there are people out there whose hearts are beating in time to mine, somewhere, even if not in my immediate world.
